Malpractice screening

Medically Speaking can screen your malpractice cases for a reasonable price. Why spend hundreds of dollars an hour when you can have an initial case screen for a fraction of the cost per hour?  Medically Speaking provides initial malpractice screening for law firms nationwide proving an initial opinion to help you make informed decisions on which cases are worth taking to the next step.

This is the first step in preparing your case summary. All medical records are organized with dividers/colored tabs and each page is numbered (Bate's Stamped) in red ink. All reports refer to these pages numbers for easy reference and information retrieval.
Objective Chronological Summaries - Malpractice - Personal Injury

Multiple chronologies are provided for your convenience. An individual chronology is provided for each volume/provider of medical records. Each entry refers to the page number where this information is located. This allows the reader to see what information is contained in each chart and allows for increased focus during deposition and trial testimony.

Each volume is then arranged into one comprehensive report allowing the reader to see the events as they occurred from all providers in chronology and the page numbers where the information is located.

The summaries are objective and consist of information obtained directly from the medical records with important information directly quoted from the records. These summaries can be given to the experts for their reference. In a relatively short period of time, the expert can read the summary and determine the issues and parties. They can quickly focus in on the parts relevant to their expertise. Since the page numbers are provided for each entry the expert can turn directly to the pertinent pages and review them in greater detail, thus saving thousands of dollars on expert fees.

The summary can be hyperlinked to the medical records and analysis report for increased ease of information retrieval. Please see RIRS for more details on this process. Since the information is scanned on to a CD-ROM you are free from lugging heavy medical records and the information is always at your fingertips. By providing the hyperlinked CD-ROM to your experts, you will save money on postage fees.

Medical Record Analysis – Malpractice - Personal Injury

Medically Speaking will identify and explain areas of interest whether potentially beneficial or detrimental to your case.  Avoid surprises.  The medical records are analyzed to include Identification of Standards of Care, Preexisting Conditions, Liability, Damage, Missing Records, Fraud, Malingering Factitious Disorders, Reasonable & Necessary, etc.   All consultant’s comments are in red ink. The analysis report refers to the page numbers in the medical records and the chronological summary, where the information is found. The analysis can be hyperlinked to the chronological summary and the medical records for easy reference. See RIRS for more information. View or Download Sample RIRS.
